Dense bongos and congas wrap around heavy drums, while flute and baritone sax enter in short, sparse phrases. Kevin Gastonguay’s B3 adds weight underneath, and guitarist Blair Krivanek takes the track’s lone solo, moving from tight funky playing into a fiery, expressive lead.

The flip, “Nuevo Cose,” settles into a looser, more laid-back groove.
