The Valdons – All Day Long b/w Love Me, Leave Me
This one’s been a long time coming.
In 1971, Minneapolis had a booming R&B scene, and The Valdons—a four-man vocal group—were right at the center of it. They released one 7", caught serious local buzz… and then disappeared.
That record never broke nationally. The group split. And that was that.
Until it wasn’t.
Over the past few years, The Valdons have quietly become a phenomenon—over 35 million streams and hundreds of millions of views across Instagram and TikTok. What started as a local obscurity is now a staple with Lowrider Souldies and Northern Soul collectors around the world.
Now, we’re finally reissuing their debut single on 7":
“All Day Long” b/w “Love Me, Leave Me”
Original copies sell for up to $600+ on the collector market. This reissue is fully licensed (as always), remastered from the original master tapes, and limited to 500 hand-numbered copies.
When they’re gone, they’re gone.
